Oh darling, the location was just perfect and the rooms were so cozy! The tech in the room was a real treat, and that rooftop bar? Absolute bliss!
But seriously, the bathroom goodies could use a little upgrade-like, I expected a spa day, not a soap opera! Oh, and don't let housekeeping play hide and seek with toiletries.

Great area, very central location not far from New York City as well as Times Square and Rockefeller Square. Nearby Bill's Bar & Burger - great place to chill out. Wonderfully appointed and spotlessly clean hotel rooms with an exceptionally large bathroom.

Its location at a short distance from Broadway Road was marvellous. All of the staff was welcoming and incredible. The luxury king room was luxurious, included a hair dryer, a separate shower, and dressing gowns.

Great rooftop bar with awesome drinks. Room needed serious updates and had worn furniture.

Great gym, pool and spa area.
While tastefully decorated, the rooms are smaller and with lower ceilings than at the comparable mid-town hotels (Four Seasons, St Regis), so for longer stays it feels more cramped. I had the largest type of room there is below the suite, but the Grand Luxe King space principally goes to a very large bathroom rather than space in the bedroom.

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The location is superb, right on 5th Ave next to Central Park, the Apple Store, Moma & Sacks. The rooms are nicely decorated & are exactly like the photo I saw on the Booked.net website. The rooms & bathrooms are very clean and to a high standard. The Junior suite comes with a free chauffeur-driven mini cooper for 3 hours every day. The staff are extremely polite & professional. The concierge staff were very helpful & pleasant. The front desk was very professional especially Sutisa who met us at our check- in & gave us a free upgrade for our second room. Rooms 1 to 5 overlook 5th Avenue & have the best location. Its better to chech in advance what the view is from the room. This hotel has made all the difference to our holiday. It was the first time my sons visited ny and staying at the Peninsula was really an enjoyable experience. I would love to stay at this hotel or one from the same chaim again.

Peninsula Spa(including gym and indoor swimming pool) opens 5:30 in the morning. So I could use it before I went to the office. That helped a lot to keep my energy.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service, but outdated facilities
The hotel's ambiance is fine, and the staff was genuinely attentive. I particularly appreciated the location, perfect for exploring the city. The room showed signs of wear, as some features felt outdated, and there weren't enough charging ports by the bed. Despite these minor drawbacks, the experience was nice.

The location is great!
The hotel service is spotty. There are days when turn down service happens and days that do not. Room service breakfast was never able to accurately have things as I asked. Each morning, there was something missing/forgotten/wrong. Whenever I call concierge, housekeeping/front desk etc. I am always put on hold for a long time.

great walks to iconic landmarks and fine parks nearby
I loved how easy it was to stroll to Bryant Park, just a short walk away, and the fine views from the rooftop deck were lovely. The staff really took care of me.

Location and spa.
Service was uneven (especially room service), and the bar next to reception was boring. Room service was pricy (even if we were happy to pay $1000+ per night for a suite).

The location was a total win for shopping and sightseeing. The rooftop pool gives you epic views. I felt pampered with the spa's steam room. My room had such a cozy vibe, felt really like home, no reason to complain.
